Global 2 begins Monday, September 12th at 2:54 in Room 3; and
American History begins Tuesday, September 13th at 2:54 in Room 3.
Information:
Mrs. Coleman will provide all students with a binder and turn in folder. Students are responsible to come to every class one time, and prepared. This includes assignments due, your binder, and your text book.
About Me:
My name is Mrs. Coleman and I will be the Social Studies teacher at ORA Academy for this school year. This is my second year of teaching and I am excited to grow as a teacher. I am also a substitue teacher in Greece, Rochester City, East Irondequoit, Churchville-Chili, Fairport, and Rush-Henrietta and a tutor for both Social Studies and College Prep including SAT prep. I am originally from Long Island, and have lived in Rochester for over 5 years with my husband, Mr. Coleman, and my 2 dogs, Belle and Sabre. I graduated from SUNY Brockport with a degree in History and Political Science in 2008 and Nazareth College with a masters degree in Education. In addition to teaching I am an a huge sports fan (GO BUFFALO SABRES AND NEW YORK METS), I run road races through out the country, and visiting New York City.
